Tips
If you don't get a calibration screen the first time you power up the Blink
it will be a nuisance programming with the display misaligned with the entry finger presses
power off the Blink, and power on again to access the calibration screen, which is clearly labeled
After you have connected the Blink to your home network, you can access all other programming via your browser, using the http://192.168.0.n format, where n is the number assigned for the Blink. It is much easier to program using your browser. The LAN Web Server Locator can help you locate the Blink.
If the charging period you are programming ends at midnight, use 11:59 p.m. instead. There is a bug if a period ends at 12:00 a.m.
In order to get 80% charging at all off-peak power intervals
program the Leaf charge schedule to schedule at all times to 80%
program the Blink to charge at all off-peak intervals. The Blink has a more capable charging schedule, but only the Leaf can limit the charge to 80%.
Don't forget that the Blink charge schedule will need to be updated 4 times a year to get the optimum off-peak charging schedules.
